While it is smaller and less conspicuous it still provides a read range of up to 4 inches with passive Prox cards (IDC170, IDC80) and up to 15 inches with active cards (IDA150, IDA200). It is designed for simplicity in mounting. The reader has a durable and scratch resistant polycarbonate housing, which maintains its "new" appearance. Various OEM proprietary card formats are available. The RF Tiny also supports Wiegand as well as RS232 and ABA Track II magstripe Formats.
